Charles Blé Goudé, président du Congrès panafricain pour la justice et l’égalité des peuples (COJEP), et Ahoua Don Mello, figure historique de la gauche ivoirienne, se sont rencontrés au siège du COJEP à Abidjan. Un tête-à-tête qualifié de « décisif » par les deux parties, marqué par la volonté commune de rassembler les forces progressistes et de renforcer l’influence de la gauche sur la scène politique nationale.
Alors que la Présidentielle d’octobre approche à grands pas en Côte d’Ivoire, des tractations se mènent entre leaders politiques et des alliances se nouent. C’est au titre de ces tractations que s’inscrit la rencontre entre Charles Blé Goudé et le candidat déclaré Ahoua Don Mello, ex-figure importante du PPA-CI de Laurent Gbagbo.
Un hommage appuyé à un « maître » et « formateur »
À l’issue de l’entretien, Charles Blé Goudé a salué le parcours et l’engagement de son hôte, qu’il a décrit comme un « maître » et un « formateur » ayant contribué à son éveil politique. « Nous partageons la même vision de gauche et la même aspiration à voir revenir notre courant politique au pouvoir », a-t-il déclaré, en insistant sur la nécessité de surmonter les divisions et rivalités personnelles qui ont affaibli le camp progressiste ces dernières années.
Bien que son nom ne figure pas sur la liste électorale, Blé Goudé a affirmé que le COJEP s’impliquera pleinement pour aider Ahoua Don Mello à réunir les parrainages nécessaires à sa candidature à la Présidentielle d’octobre 2025. « Nous allons affiner notre projet pour redonner espoir aux Ivoiriens et aborder les vrais défis de la société », a-t-il indiqué, appelant à mettre de côté les polémiques pour se concentrer sur l’essentiel.
Une dynamique de rassemblement des forces progressistes
La rencontre a également permis de réaffirmer la volonté de reconstruire une gauche ivoirienne unie et crédible face aux grands blocs politiques dominants. Pour Charles Blé Goudé, cette union est non seulement stratégique, mais indispensable pour peser dans le débat public et défendre une vision alternative de gouvernance axée sur la justice sociale et l’égalité.
Le leader du COJEP a profité de l’occasion pour adresser à la jeunesse un message dans lequel il évoque les épreuves traversées par la génération militante issue des années de crise. « Derrière nos sourires, il y a des blessures que nous portons à vie. Nous avons traversé des chemins difficiles, mais la lutte continue. Avec le soutien de personnalités comme Ahoua Don Mello, notre jeunesse peut se sentir encouragée », a-t-il conclu.
La collaboration annoncée entre les deux hommes pourrait marquer une étape importante dans la recomposition du paysage politique ivoirien à gauche, à environ deux mois du scrutin présidentiel.
